In August 2024, we filmed Soul Connection; the Short Film, to serve as a proof of concept for the characters, story and scope of a feature film prospect. As we are unknown filmmakers, we knew we needed to do something to demonstrate our ability to industry professionals!
The Proof of Concept has gone from graduation project to being screened for Northern Industry professionals and is now being used to help us secure a feature film team!

SCREENING
On Friday 21st February, we hosted a Northern screening of Soul Connection's Short Film at the Everyman Cinema in Harrogate.​
We were lucky enough to be joined, not only the amazing cast and local crew who worked tirelessly on this shoe-string short film, but also by the amazing local community who came together to support us through donating their locations, facilities and time.

Furthermore, this was the first chance for us to share our ambitions of creating the feature film version with the local film industry!
Screen Yorkshire, the regional film funding body, joined us to celebrate our film and we can't wait to give you further updates about what our next steps are to creating Soul Connection; the feature film!
